Gap Maxi Dress (Get it HERE) I wore this to the Celebrate My Size Expo and I loved the Town Hall Meeting that featured an influential panel of plus size women. This is the perfect style to pair with the Fit For Me Microfiber Boxer Briefs.
A few of my readers asked me what foundation garments I wore under my clothing last week, and you know I am always more than happy to share that information. The key to a flattering silhouette is what you wear underneath your clothing. I am always on the quest to achieve the perfect. How your clothing fits can make or break your outfit. I already have a page on all of the shapewear that I wear and recommend, so you can use that as a resource. I don’t want there to be any distractions with my looks. I always want to control what people focus on. I have a few tips on how to achieve a smooth silhouette underneath your clothing, and I am going to share what I wore under some of the outfits that I rocked to my favorite events during Full Figured Fashion Week.
TIP 1: Wear the correct size and style of underwear. Many women do not understand the importance of this, but it is key. I like to wear the Fit For Me Microfiber Brief Panties underneath my clothing because they do not create those dreadful panty lines and they have great coverage. I like for my briefs to go over the top of my stomach sometimes because wearing them under can produce a muffin top.
I wore this Christian Ome’shun dress to the Hal Rubenstein and Marla Wynne Exclusive Blogger Event (Get it HERE). For this type of dress, I like to wear the Fit For Me Microfiber Brief Panties and a light shaper. Check out my shapewear page HERE for a detailed list of the shapewear that I recommend.
The white cruise was so much fun and I wore another Christian Ome’shun design (Get it HERE) I love this dress!
TIP 2: Pair your panties with shapewear. Many women do not like to wear shapewear without panties (even though they are built-in). It is totally fine to pair your shapewear with a thin microfiber style of panty. I find that doing this will smooth you out even more in your clothing.
TIP 3: There are alternatives to wearing shapewear with certain styles (especially during the summer months). Fit For Me has a boxer brief that you can wear with your maxi skirts and dresses. These styles are more loose-fitting and may not require you to wear shapewear. The boxer briefs also help to reduce friction.
I hope you find this post helpful and if you have any tips on what you wear under your clothing. Please share!
