Secrets To Wearing A Bodycon Dress – Part 3

Dress – c/o Monif C, pumps ~Christian Louboutin

Quality matters!  Many inexpensive bodycon dresses are constructed from knit or polyester, which can be thin and clingy.  These materials have a tendency to accentuate all of your flaws and can make wearing a bodycon dress very uncomfortable.  If you are already self-conscious about this type of style the best thing that you can do for yourself is to invest in a quality dress.

This lovely cut-out shoulder dress from Monif C is constructed from a blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex.  I feel most comfortable in this dress because it does not highlight my imperfections and the fabric is firm and not flimsy.  As a plus size woman, I like my clothing to be constructed from thick stretchable fabrics that will not showcase every bump and lump.  It is essential to pay attention to the type of fabric that your bodycon styles are made from because it can make a huge difference in how you look in your dress! I hope you have enjoyed this 3-part series on the “Secrets To Wearing A Bodycon Dress.”  Check out Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed it!
