I’m back for another Teacher Style post! This week I’m giving you a treat with two posts! (Yeah!)  In collaboration with Talbots, I’m back again to showcase some of the styles that I will be rocking in the classroom this fall. Today is all about how to create a classic, yet modern look.  Those of us that work in the professional world understand that over-the-top fashion may not be appropriate for certain work environments.  I love to have fun with my style, but I also want to look appropriate.  You don’t have to feel boxed in with your workwear. (You can still have fun!)  Here are a few tips on how to add a little flair to your style in the workplace:

  • Grab some fun ballet flats.  These leopard-print flats are comfortable and super stylish.
  • As the weather gets cooler rock your vests.  Vests are the perfect way to add a modern touch to your work outfit. Words cannot describe how fabulous this shawl-collar coat is, and it’s reversible!  I will be wearing it all season.
  • Add classic elements to your outfit so that you don’t over do it.  I’m wearing a classic white shirt and straight-leg pants, but I can have fun with my accessories by adding jewelry, handbags, and belts—which gives your look personality.  Have fun with it!

I hope you enjoyed my Teacher Style series this week!  I will be back next week for another edition!
