Grab Your Sarongs Girls!

We all know that summer is officially sarong and swimsuit season!  Sarongs are the perfect way to enhance your swimsuit looks and make them even more fashionable.  Sarongs are very versatile and you can wear them as skirts, tops, and dresses. The options are endless, and I had a lot of fun styling my sarongs from 1 World Sarongs.  It can be difficult to find sarongs to fit curvy and plus size bodies, but 1 World Sarongs has a variety of sarongs in stylish prints, colors, and sizes.  These are the ultimate classic pieces to use as cover-ups and as fashion accessories!  Today, I’m showcasing three ways that I plan to rock my sarongs this summer, and I’m giving away a sarong for you to style too.  Yeah!!!

Style 1: Bandeau Dress

Red Smoked Sarong

Create the perfect strapless dress or beach coverup!  Wrap the sarong around your body, tie it, and tuck it in to create a cute strapless dress.

Style 2: The Maxi Beach Skirt

Blue Tie-Dye Sarong

Who doesn’t love a maxi skirt!  I love how you can wear a sarong in multiple ways.  This is definitely a diverse way to build your summer wardrobe.  Tie the sarong around your waist into a knot to create a chic maxi.

Style 3: Halter Dress

I love halter styles and a sarong is a perfect way to create this look.  Wrap the scarf around your body, twist the sarong around your neck and tie in the back to create a fabulous halter dress.

I hope you have a blast styling your sarongs this summer and be sure to check out 1 World Sarongs if you are looking for the perfect one for your next trip or picnic in the backyard.  You can rock them everywhere!

  • Denene

  • DVah

    …as a halter dress…with a thick belt. 🙂

  • Catrina Whitehead

I would first refashion it into a long flowy vest (I do it with scarves all the time) and wear it with a tank, some cutoffs and flat gladiators

  • Evelyn Brown

I would definitely try all three ways your styled it but I think it would also be fun to make it into a top! Maybe a tube top or even halter it! I think it would also be fun to experiment making it into a choker top or something off the shoulders! With a white skirt and strappy sandals for some fun beach vibes! I’ll be in Miami in a month so may have to actually try this haha

  • Tru’dy Rose

As a halter dress with beaded accessories and moccasins with a curly fro or pin up light make up and a small suede clutch brown to match the moccasins

  • Voice of Reason

I would tie it as a halter blouse and wear it with shorts! I love sarongs!!

  • Catrina Whitehead

I’m sticking with refashioning it into a long flowy vest, with cutoffs and gladiators. I’m really into the Bohemian/Hippie look right now.

  • Romy Sarrazin

I love sarongs! I like to wear mine as a skirt!

  • Shatara Henderson

I would rock the sarong as a wrap skirt!
I would pair it with a navy, short sleeve leotard, a cheetah print turban, and a pair of nude, lace-up flat sandals.
Oh, and I would accessorize with gold bangles and large, gold hoop earrings.

  • Lisa Thomas

I would rock the sarong tied on one shoulder with a pair of distressed jeans rolled up and a pair of nude heels or wedges. My accessories would be gold and my clutch would be nude.

  • Bibi Brooks

I would wear the sarong as a halter dress to spice up some bathing suits i have. Can’t wait till my vaca in October ❤️

  • Tierra Powell

I love the idea of wearing it at a dress but I’m pretty tall so it could be pretty short on me. I would pair it with a pair of distressed shorts and lace up knee high sandals.

  • Sarah Brown

I’ve been looking for cute sarongs for a long time and it’s usually hard being curvy and 6’2! I would total rock this sarong for my Wedding in Jamaica in November! Paired with my sexy cut out Ashley Graham swimsuit, beach wavy hair and big sunglasses, my future husband wont know what to do! Tie it around the waist and also make a cute style with my gladiator sandals and basic tee for a nice Jamaican dinner beachside!

  • Richelle Re Re Brockington

I haven’t worn a sarong in quite some time but you are so inspiring. I would most likely wear the sarong as the maxi skirt which is so in right now. Or the halter dress it looks so carefree! Thanks for the chance

  • Anisa Hall

OMG these are super cute and fashionable. I would rock it as a halter dress/shirt, a strapless dress/shirt, a skirt, a swimsuit cover up, and maybe even a throw/over sized scarf with a belt over a t shirt and some jeans. Thanks for the contest and for inspiring us curvy women with your fashion!
